1. The inner diameter (or inner length x width) of the manhole cover must be equal to or exceed the designated wellhead dimensions. Failing to meet this specification will notably compromise the cover's load-bearing capacity.
2. During installation, ensure the joint surface between the well seat and the concrete ground is seamless and free of any gaps. Any voids can lead to potential crushing under the weight of construction vehicles, such as road rollers, thereby impacting the cover's durability.
3. When installing manhole covers on asphalt pavements, it is vital to prevent any direct compaction of the manhole seat by construction machinery. During road construction, leave a slightly larger opening than the well seat on the road surface. Place the cover only after the asphalt has been properly laid and set.
