1. The inner diameter (or inner length x width) of the manhole cover must be greater than or equal to the designated wellhead size to maintain its bearing capacity and ensure safety and reliability.
2. During installation, it is crucial that the joint surface between the well seat and the concrete ground is tight with no gaps. Any suspended areas could lead to damage under the weight of road construction equipment such as road rollers, thus shortening the service life of the manhole cover.
3. When installing manhole covers on asphalt pavements, it is imperative to prevent direct compaction of the manhole seat by construction machinery. During road construction, a hole slightly larger than the well seat should be reserved in the road surface. The cover should then be positioned after the asphalt is laid to ensure a flawless fit and finish.
