1. The inner diameter (or inner length x width) of the manhole cover must be equal to or exceed the reserved wellhead size. Failing to meet this requirement could significantly compromise the cover's load-bearing capacity.
2. During installation, the junction between the well seat and the concrete surface must be impeccably tight with no voids. Any suspended areas might lead to the structure being crushed by a road roller during construction, thereby reducing its lifespan.
3. For installations on asphalt pavements, it is vital to prevent construction machinery from compacting the manhole seat directly. A slightly larger hole than the well seat should be pre-reserved in the road surface. After laying the asphalt, the manhole cover can then be securely placed.
