Product Description

Product Introduction

18mm 20mm Bfrp Gfrp Fiberglass Reinforced Rebar
Fiberglass Rebar
Fiberglass Rebar is a spiral wrapped structural reinforcing rod made from a combination of fiberglass roving and resin. FRP Rebar has been developed as a non-corrosive alternative to steel in concrete reinforcement and is suitable for any structural or architectural application where a material that is corrosion resistant, lightweight or non-conductive is required.

Advantage

18mm 20mm Bfrp Gfrp Fiberglass Reinforced Rebar

Production process

18mm 20mm Bfrp Gfrp Fiberglass Reinforced Rebar
18mm 20mm Bfrp Gfrp Fiberglass Reinforced Rebar

1. Raw material preparation: Glass fibers are cleaned and treated for impurities.

2. Impregnation: Glass fibers are evenly coated with a thermosetting resin.

3. Forming: Shaped and aligned glass fibers are created using rollers or guides.

4. Curing: The resin is hardened through a heat or pressure curing process.

5. Cutting and finishing: Fiberglass rebar is cut to length and treated for smoothness.

6. Quality control and testing: Mechanical and performance tests ensure adherence to standards.

7. Packaging and distribution: Finished fiberglass rebar is bundled and shipped to construction sites.

By following these steps, manufacturers produce high-quality fiberglass rebar for reinforcement in concrete structures.

Several details can affect the quality during the production of rebar :

1. Quality of raw materials: The quality of the raw materials used, such as glass fibers and resin, directly impacts the
performance of the final product. Using high-quality glass fibers and resin is crucial for ensuring rebar quality.

2. Uniformity and impregnation: The uniform impregnation of glass fibers with resin is essential for the strength and durability of rebar. Non-uniform impregnation or presence of voids can result in weak points and vulnerability.

3. Forming process: Control and precision during the forming process are crucial to ensure consistent shape and dimensions of rebar. Any deviations in shape or size can affect the performance and installation of rebar.

4. Curing process: Proper control of temperature, time, and pressure during the curing process is important to ensure complete solidification of the resin. Incomplete curing can result in weak spots or structural instability.

5. Surface treatment: Cutting and surface treatment of rebar are vital to ensure smoothness and remove any burrs. Burrs and rough surfaces can decrease the bonding ability between rebar and concrete.

6. Quality control and testing: Implementing quality control measures and conducting tests during the production process are critical. Mechanical performance testing, durability testing, and quality checks ensure that rebar meets relevant standards and specifications.

By controlling and ensuring these details, high-quality rebar can be produced, providing excellent strength, durability, and
reliability for reinforcing concrete structures.

Application Areas

1.Concrete Susceptible to Corrosion Tunneling & Mining.

2.Building & Historic Preservation Exposure of Concrete to De-Icing Chlorides.

3.Masonry Strengthening Exposure of Concrete to Marine Chlorides.

4.Exposure of Concrete to High Voltages & Electromagnetic Fields.

FAQ

1. Are you a manufacturer?
Yes, we are a manufacturer, welcome to visit our factory!

2. What's FRP?
Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibers. The fibres are usually glass, carbon, aramid, or basalt. Rarely, other fibres such as paper or wood or asbestos have been used. The polymer is usually an epoxy, vinylester or polyester thermosetting plastic, and formaldehyde resins are still in use. FRP are commonly used in the aerospace, automotive, marine, construction industries and ballistic armor.

3.How can you guarantee you product quality?
100% of our products will be tested before delivery. To control quality, we are using high quality material from high quality supplier.
